Hey, you’re finally awake.
Want to make some new friends at Generation Games?
Want to meet up with people who love the same game just as much as you?
Then you’re looking to be a part of our Community Meetups! We’re sure you’ll be able to find someone who shares your hyperspecific headcanon on Baldur’s Gate 3. 🐻🧝♀️🧙♂️
The Community Zone is designed to be a place where attendees can come together to socialize, and celebrate their love for all things gaming culture. We provide a welcoming atmosphere where you can engage in discussions and meetups. Community Meetups are scheduled across the weekend for anyone to attend in our Community Zone. Come alone and make new friends, or come as a group! Everyone is welcome.
Cosplay Meetups
It’s not safe to go alone.
If you’re not one for discussion, but you’re dressed for the occasion anyway, be sure to head on over to the Community Zone and meet some likeminded fans in awesome cosplay!
Off the back of the Community Meetup discussions, we’ll also be hosting Cosplay Meetups! Take a group cosplay picture in front of our awesome photo wall to immortalise the occasion! Partake in some light shenanigans. Answer some rapid fire trivia questions for some quick prizes!
Cosplay Photographers
Local cosplay photographers will be present, ready to take your photo in the Cosplay Photography Area.
The best part? All photo sessions are complimentary! Make sure you stop by to see them and get your photo taken to immortalise your cosplay!
If you’re not coming in Cosplay, not to worry! You can still stop by and get your picture snapped with one of our Generation Games props!
If you’re a budding photographer, head over to the Cosplay Photography area from 2:30PM Saturday afternoon to use the space to take your own photos!

handheld gaming, chillout zone & community games
Need a break from the show floor? Just want to pull up a beanbag and play your switch for awhile? Need to recharge yourself, or your devices? Head over to the Handheld Gaming & Chillout Zone. Located in the Community Zone, you’ll find beanbags, recharge ports (BYO charging cables) and more.
Love party games, but never have enough people to play with? We got you. We’ll have some classic party games set up for people to join and play via your own devices! Jackbox anyone? Pull up a beanbag and see if you can reign supreme when pitted against random crowd NPC’s.
Cosplay Repair
Captain Patch-It and his Patch-Iteers are cosplay repair people roaming conventions in an never-ending crusade against cosplay malfunctions and breakages.
