Generation Games D&D Epic – The Grand Tapestry is Australia’s biggest game of Dungeons and Dragons! Taking place over the entire weekend of Generation Games 2024, 160 Adventurers playing over 40 sessions will quest together in a shared world, where the decisions, successes and failures you experience in your session affect the future generations of heroes in later rounds!
The Grand Tapestry
Parties of 4 will come together (join as a group or be put into a group), be assigned a Dungeon Master and Characters, then drop into a shared world alongside 9 other parties, all working towards their goals simultaneously! Will they help or hinder you? Does your victory come from another group’s defeat? Or do you combine forces to overcome greater challenges? It’s up to you!

I'm In, how does it work?
Generation Games, working with the team from Awakened Fables will design, deploy run an interactive adventure for approx. 160 players in the Forgotten Realms.
- There will be 2 sessions run per day. Each session will have room for 40 players made up of 10 tables of 4.
- Each table will be assigned a DM and pre made character sheets specifically for the adventure.
- There will be one Grand Dungeon Master keeping all of the encounter tables aligned to the adventure!
- When registration opens you can register as an individual who will be assigned to a group, or you can register as a group of 4.
- The D&D Epic is free to register for and play. Your registered spot will be confirmed with you prior to the show.
- 1 table from each session will be held for on the day sign ups, so if you miss out on pre-registering, there is still a chance you can play on the day!
- You are welcome to live stream your session from your table to any social channel you may have. You will need to provide your own equipment/internet connection to do this.
