Brisbane based, internationally recognised Tattoo Aftercare heavyweight Dr Pickles are offering tattoo enthusiasts the opportunity to get tattooed, with the twist being they will not know what tattoo they are getting, until the tattoo is completed and embedded in their skin.
For the first time ever in Australia, dare devils are treated to the opportunity to have a ‘blind tattoo’ whereby they put their arm into a hole and after telling the artist a few core facts about themselves, the tattoo artist will select a tattoo to suit the daring person’s personality. The most daring of punters put their arm in with not a word, and let the artist select their brand-new ink-addition.

Dr Pickles Marketing Lead, Nikita Jeppesen says ‘Whilst Dr Pickles takes tattoo aftercare very seriously, we were hoping punters will have some fun with this concept. When implementing this kind of bold marketing strategy, we did not know how it was going to be received, within hours we were completely sold out, tattooing until midnight for three days of each event’.
